 What is the AEM Global Race? The Global Race is our first ever live event for Haiku Games since we first started making games 7 years ago! We thought adding the excitement of a timed competition to the satisfaction of solving our puzzle mysteries would be a fun event for our players. Congratulations! Congratulations to those players who completed the race already! As of this writing, we have over 300 people that have successfully completed Psychic Squad. We are extremely impressed by everyone - many of you completed chapters quicker than members of the Haiku Games team when we were playtesting the chapter! Prizes will be awarded for all finishers, so don't give up. Race Communications A small but significant number of players did not realize they had to purchase a ticket to play in the race. We sincerely apologize to those who thought they could play the race but weren’t able to without a ticket. We will review all communications sent to players to see how we can do better in the future. Our new game Psychic Squad will be available for everyone for free as usual shortly after the race is over and we finalize the game (for example, we have to add the hints and puzzle skips in). We expect it will come out in 1-2 weeks.  What’s next? We’re certainly excited about the response to the race. Many players let us know they had a great time and wanted to play another one. We also heard that some players connected with other players around the world, and it makes us feel great that we can bring people together by creating games. It’s too early to tell, but we hope to hold a race for another game in the future! In the meantime, we are working on bringing one of the Haiku Classic games, Starstruck featuring Detective Kate Gray, to Adventure Escape Mysteries. We are also working on an unannounced new title featuring never before seen characters that we can’t wait to show everyone. Here’s a sneak peak!

Olá, tudo bem? Amo e jogo TODOS os jogos lançados, mas infelizmente fiquei de fora desse da corrida. Triste. Esse negócio de comprar ingresso achei desnecessário. Não deveria acontecer. Nem todos teve dinheiro para comprar.

I was looking so forward to this race, but am one of the small but significant number of players that didn't know I needed a ticket until it was too late. You should hold these races more often!

I was also really looking forward to the race! I did notice in advance that tickets were required, but I didn't realize there was such a limited amount of tickets—that wasn't obvious. When I went to buy one last Saturday (a week in advance), they were all out or sales were closed. I would have bought one earlier if I'd known.

We're glad you're excited about the possibility of races in the future. We sold out of our tickets quicker than we expected, so I'm sorry you didn't have a chance to purchase time. In the future we hope to give a fixed amount of time for people to purchase tickets, or more clearly show how many tickets are remaining.

I also was looking forward for this event, but didn’t notice that it requires a ticket so I’m waiting for the global release😣. I’ve been a fan of Haiku Games, so I was very happy when I heard that you are making an online event. I hope you can do more events like this in the future!

I was looking forward to the race but seeing that im underage I was unable to buy with real money... Do you think that buying with stars can be an option if there is a next time?

Can't for the life of me get past the dang rope challenge on chapter 8 watched how to's and still can't get rope to reach as far as they can on video... Why???? 😩

I wonder whether all the haiku games will be moved to AE Mysteries, including Escape Castle. It could be fun. :-)
