Just to give feedback in case it is helpful. I thought Vanishing Act was far below AE standards. I’m not sure exactly why but it was not enjoyable. I would not do another AE game if other new ones are like this one. Reason why I didn’t enjoy it? I think it’s a combination of the following: graphics seemed poor compared to previous games; story line to me seemed weak and not compelling to keep going with it; puzzles were not challenging and at times had solutions that seemed far fetched.
Just my thoughts. Others may love this, but I found myself wanting to be finished with it. Not sure if I’ll try another. (First time I’ve ever paid for a game…expecting it to be like the previous games. Greatly appreciate those earlier games!)

The new game is wonderful,I wonder when will the new game 《Sweet Dreams》release if I buy early access？

I agree its up to the individual if you would like to purchase early access and the bonus chapter, but it should be optional to buy the stars not everybody needs them because most of the puzzles are easy enough to solve

I've enjoyed the AE games ever since I stumbled across you guys years ago. I have played everyone of your games and I'm redoing them now just to wait for the new ones! Because of your games, I can't even do an escape room from another company because they're always lacking something & it's usually not enjoyable for me. Thank you for trying to give us a quality product - FOR FREE - as long as you did. How you did it for this long is nothing short of amazing!

As far as the games themselves, I do have to partially agree with Andrew; the games haven't been as intriguing as before. They're aren't bad, but not as engaging story or puzzle wise. I know Kate is favorite among players, but I am still hoping for more chapters from Midnight Carnival & Time Library! And thank you for more diversity in the game as well - it does not go unnoticed...

Last, but not least, a lot of games have a monthly pass, usually $4.99, for something dealing with that game. I know your game is set up differently, but maybe that's an option as well? I would have no problem paying $5 for bonus content, extra puzzles, or something similar. Or like other users have mentioned, a one time fee for VIP bundles for the year or for every 3 months. I believe you guys will find a solution that grows your company and provide a pleasant experience for us. People are willing to give if they don't feel scammed or if the company itself isn't greedy...

I love Adventure Escape! I haven't stopped replaying nearly all the stories. I'm happy to support by purchasing the VIP bundles. I think I did enjoy Vanishing Act and found it be more to the standard of previous Detective Kate Mysteries, which is more credit than I would give for the most recent one "On Thin Ice." I think the new storyline with Kate's sister is interesting and has great potential. I do feel there was a plot hole in that the story seems to start off with Kate and Murphy officially on a date and then once the investigation starts, it switches and they act like they actually were called in like it was a regular work job. I wasn't a fan of the romantic storyline in On Thin Ice, though I did like how the storyline extended to other members of the precinct. The opening of Vanishing Act felt more authentic to Kate and Murphy's characters and how their romantic relationship would be.
Anyway, if I as a player think continuity is important, I hope the creators do too.

P. S. I imagine the introduction of Kate's sister is the future of the storyline but I've also always felt that Trapmaker 3 ended with the potential that it still wouldn't be the last Kate hears from Trapmaker. Just something I felt like mentioning.

I've played all your games and love them. I'd be happy to pay for them, too, but I think 10 euro is quite steep. I don't need any stars (I rarely use them and have collected a fair few myself by now), so I would appreciate an option to buy the early access & bonus but not the stars. That would make the game more affordable for me and mean that I don't have to pay for something I don't want/need.
Thanks for making such great games, and also for communicating with us openly and asking for feedback.
On a more content-related note: I'm not a great fan of the romantic development. I preferred it when Murphy was keen on Kate and she didn't have a clue ;-) But I love the humour in your games and the effort you put into even minor characters. Great work. More, please.

I’ve loved playing these games for free for years. Thank you! I appreciate all the work that goes into it and would be willing to pay. But I agree with others…I don’t need the stars since I have so many. So the option to buy only what features you need would be great (VIP access, no ads).

I don’t care for monthly subscriptions. I like the option of paying when I have time to play/feel like playing.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Sweet Dreams, I just like more realistic adventures.
