Adventure Escape™ is the flagship series that Haiku Games creates. Adventure Escape games combine the devious puzzles of “escape the room” style games with interesting characters and a thrilling story. The puzzles may seem challenging at first, but there’s a logical solution to each one! We made Adventure Escape since we love adventure games and escape rooms (our team has played well over 100 real life escape rooms). In our humble opinion, we believe Adventure Escape is the best escape room series out there on the app store. We started Adventure Escape because we wanted to elevate the graphics and level of polish of escape games on the app store. For example, many other escape games constantly have advertisements running while you play, which we think takes away the experience. We strive to make our games great looking, fun, and intuitive to play. We also thought that many escape games lacked an interesting story. We drew inspiration from classic point and click adventure games, which feature a rich story that immerses the reader. Instead of escaping door after door for no reason, we want to transport you to be a secret agent like in Allied Spies, an archaeologist like in Hidden Ruins, or homicide detective. The heart of an Adventure Escape game are fair puzzles. We have a design principle called “satisfying challenge.” We think puzzles should be tough but solvable. We spend a lot of time creating unique puzzles that we do not think have been seen before.  Help homicide detective Kate Gray crack the case in Adventure Escape: Starstruck! Of course, there’s still a lot of work that we can do, and we are constantly trying to improve. We’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what an escape game is. In our newest game Haunted Hunt, you can shapeshift into different animals in order to find new clues. Shapeshift into a cat to gain supernatural vision and the ability to see traps! Puzzles are too difficult for me to figure out even with hints. Need more then that to make me want to play these games. I find the concept fascinating but as I said, too difficult to get answers to solve the puzzles. I deleted them.

Just saying, if you cannot solve the puzzles, then that’s really on you. They offer so many more clues outside of the game, and even walk-throughs. I mean, not to be rude, but there are so many resources for you to use, and they try to provide as many as they can before giving you the answer. I feel like if you use those resources, you find the gameplay a lot more fun. But I also understand that some of the puzzles really are difficult. But I’ve been playing these since high school, I never had too much trouble. If I got stuck on a puzzle for more than a couple days, I would just look it up for extra hints. Usually worked just fine for me.

Me too, I love them all! And have completed every one (including Midnight Carnival & Haunted Hunt which are no longer available on Google Play, but NOT including Pyramids of Giza... that's the only one!)

I love life escape rooms as well (over 20)! I love your games because there is a story line and they are very immersive, and that’s what i look for when i do a live escape game (i was so scared when i played asylum!). The puzzles may sometimes be difficult but doable so keep it that way ! With the latest game, haunted hunt, you set very very high standards. It was simply awesome to change shift ! Unique ! I can’t wait to play your next game even if there were to be without a new innovation. Well done !

Escape games based on works by Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan doyle, Edgar Allan Poe, Edgar Wallace ("The Door with Seven Locks"), John Dickson Carr, Jules Verne (Science Fiction) .H. G. Wells (The time Machine) would be very nice and interesting.

I agree, that would be awesome! Or some BASED on epic classic films like Titanic, ET, Back To The Future, Harry Potter etc... I don't know much about it but I think it would have to be loosely based depending on the "clearance" rules or if they could get copyright to use sections of the stories but if bits were taken out etc then i guess it wouldn't "feel" the same as the plot in the books & films but as the games ARE FREE and it's not funded by anything except in-game purchases (that's my assumpion) then i don't know how cost-effective it would be or how much it would cost... also the company whose book/film it is would have to be paid so no clue on the logistics if how it would work. But, in essence, I guess (with films for example) if games based on them were to be released it would be connected to that franchise in some official way 🤔

I wasn't a huge fan of escape games that had levels or chapters (in other words you can't explore everything and go back to the same area like an open world game if that makes sense), but these games are amazing! The storyline, the characters, the graphics, and the music is just perfect! I played all of them and I can't wait for more! 11/16/2018 03:08:04 pm
I like the idea that you can make a mystery game with a story. This is a nice way to live through the game but also have fun in the story. My friends and I will keep this in mind as we look to find a fun game to play the next time we all get together.

I was actually looking for games exactly like this but didn't know until a couple of months ago that they even existed! I am so obsessed with all of your games! At first they were difficult and I had to watch walkthroughs online to figure them out, but now that I get it, I absolutely love them and replay them because they're the best escape/puzzle games out there. I only wish there were more than that they lasted a little longer since I can do 9 chapters in a day or two and then I have to wait forever for the next one to come out.
